Wasted Colours I

I shot this when I was walking thru Moscow centre about a week ago. You know, in any big city there are certain places, which nobody considers worth visiting. Wastelands. Abandoned houses. Dead alleys.

And I was stunned by the way this weathered old house was transformed by the peculiar reflections of sunlight in ice and in windows of the opposite building. It was full of rich colours, sparkling, breathing. I had to stop and take this shot.

[I'm a bit disappointed by the lens flare here, but the idea is captured anyway; hope I'll have a chance to improve this shot by visiting the location again]

It turned out that I actually took more than one "colour capture" of such... wastelands. So I added "#1" detail to the title. I think I'll share more some day...
