...non reficiat.
Best family motto I can think of, seriously. I thank God for Terry Pratchett every day, for the man creates pure awesomeness in written form.))
:rose:
Took me two days (and one huge, dark, R-rated Scottish audiobook)) to finish this one.
Meant this as both an illustration, a portrait of my favourite Pratchett's character, and a present for one of my friends who loves him, as well. So...
Lord Havelock Vetinari, the Patrician of Ankh-Morpork © The Discworld by Terry Pratchett.
Painted in Corel Painter IX, text and slight colour shading added in Photoshop.

I love you. And Vetinari.
I didn't immediately notice the knife (I was too busy weeping a little because of the lilac and the painting in general) but when I did I grinned like an idiot because not noticing it immediately made it all perfect. XD
*favs a billion times*

I love this drawing almost as much as I like this character

I adore this representation of Vetinari! I'm especially mesmerized by the eyebrows, for some reason...
Although my favourite part lies behind Havelock: I love the window, it fits veeeery well the character!

YES xD
Didn't get the point of final part, though; guess I didn't feel much sympathy for Rilke)))

Understandable. I'd be interested to see your interpretation of Rilke, though (and I could show you mine if you would be interested).
