Ice Queenby *erebus-odora

Okay, I'm a bit ill these days (and it feels like I haven't been here for bloody ages!!!), so I'll try to be short.

First of all, this painting is like my early spring - with snow all over my city, ice in my heart, cold in my house, but life in my soul. Weird composition, I know; but it just felt... right.

And, secondly, that's how I see the new work of one of my favourite bands. Yeah, Eisbrecher, love you, guys, thanks for inspiration. They've made some gorgeous piece of "Eiszeit" and released this single today; listen here, if interested.

You know... I had to spend a heck of time and make the original size really HUGE just in order to try make the painting this smooth... I'm really relieved to know my attempts weren't lost in vain )))
