A Cage Within

This is more of a thought, than of a painting.

I've heard people saying the same things from time to time.

Sometimes people say, they feel like locked in a cage.
Sometimes people say, they feel like being tortured.
Sometimes people say, they feel like someone's violating their minds, causing headaches...

Most times people don't realise that the causes for all these feelings are their own selves. We are the self-torturers, we are those, who imagined and invented the limits to our own natural freedom. The scariest cage for us is the one that lies within us.

And the scariest situation is when we are locked in ourselves for so long, that we actually become nothing but empty cages.
